Background: Coronavirus, or SARS-CoV2, is one of the main pathogens that attack human respiratory system. The coronavirus disease caused by SARS COV2 represents causative agent a potentially fatal global public health concern. West Sumatra in top 10 provinces contributed most COVID-19 cases Indonesia. 1st According to official website Health Padang City Service on September 22, 2020, 2385 confirmed people, 1426 people recovered from COVID-19, and 53 died. high incidence positive Covid-19 due lack knowledge adherence government-mandated practices. Dental care places have risk infection aerosols generated during procedures, handling sharp objects, proximity dentists patients. Dentistry students must an awareness deep knowledge, better understanding, be updated with practice adapting identify possible infections. Objective: aim increase about among undergraduate dentistry at Baiturrahmah Faculty Dentistry, Padang. Methods: This type research called descriptive research. target population this study was 2017, 2018, 2019, sample 175 people. conducted online city using Google Forms Media for distributing questionnaires. When carried out 2020. Results: results showed as many 99.4% respondents had good 0.6% bad 97.7% got first information through media, 56% latest Covid via internet, only 11.4% are taking courses, 5.1% still courses until now. method data analysis used SPSS program univariate bivariate analysis. processed presented table form.
